While my weight remains the same, I shall not give up! I will forget about the scales for now and concentrate on getting healthier. That means walking more and further. As the weather continues to warm up I will take my walking to the outdoors. Getting fresh air should help clear out the cobwebs. I have started to take cinnamon to help regulate my blood sugar and it seems to help. I will know more in a month.
I have started reading Oprah's book club choice for this month...A New Earth...but am not quite sure what to think of it yet....it's a bit strange but I see some truths in it also. I tried to sigh up for the class but I can't seem to get in for some reason...Oh well.
Today I made two kinds of soup...pea soup for Ray and bean soup for Perry. Of course, I will keep a bowl of each for myself. I need to go deliver the soups now so will leave you all with this little quote...
" Amazing! You hang something in your closet for a while

Today is Goal Day! I am only half way there! I am down to 168. I'm not going to get discouraged but will continue to set new goals. I hope to get rid of the other five pounds by the end of the month.
I loved the page for Teague's Art book-what a cute idea and a great way to save his drawings. I love the A B C book too. I'd like to order the one you did so send it to me.
I better get going as I have to be at work by ten (not looking forward to this day).

I am going to attack this weight loss thing from another side...today I will fast and then I will drop the calories down to 800 or less. I have to do something drastic because I am not loosing anything. I weigh exactly the same as last week! That means that I haven't lost anything since I left Spokane and I've been exercising. I haven't eaten any deserts or candy or snacks...I don't get it. I need something to start the engine so I'll try the health food store today to see what they have. Age really is a factor. When I was young I could loose 10 pounds in 2 weeks easily. Now my body seems to adjust to what ever I eat and stay the same. I am looking forward to spring when I can walk outside in the fresh air. Today it has warmed up but the wind is blowing.
I have been working on my pioneer story book and can see it coming together nicely. Next it will be my mother's. I have decided to do my mom and dad together(my mother would cringe) as I don't have enough pictures for separate ones. I received Steph's book yesterday. I like the bigger format, it really is a nice book. I don't know when I'll give it to her-I'd like it as a demo. Maybe I'll give it to her after Friday.
Well, I just got out of the shower and need to do my hair and get down to the treadmill then paint until the light is gone and then go to the store....my work is never done!
I'll post again when there is something good to report!
